A slim indoor LED video wall for U.S. commercial projects
In a commercial interior, the screen is only part of the project. The wall behind it, the space in front of it and the route used to service it all matter. A display that looks right in a rendering can become awkward if mounting depth or maintenance access is left until the end.
The VTLED SF Series indoor fine-pitch LED display addresses those practical details with a 33 mm cabinet, front access and six cabinet sizes. Its lightweight die-cast aluminum design is intended to make the cabinet system easier to work with while giving planners more ways to fit a display into a finished room.
Start with depth, not just diagonal size
The SF cabinet is 33 mm deep—approximately 1.30 inches. That slim profile is useful to consider for a retail feature wall, a hotel reception area or a meeting room where the display needs to sit comfortably within the interior.
That number describes the cabinet itself. Mounting hardware, cable routing, ventilation and the wall construction still determine the final projection into the room. Plan that complete section early, before surrounding finishes are signed off.
Front service can simplify the room layout
A permanent LED wall will need maintenance. If it can only be reached from behind, the room may need an access corridor or another way to reach the rear. SF provides front access, allowing the service approach to be planned from the display side.
For a business that uses the space every day, this is an installation detail worth discussing with the integrator. Review the module-removal method, safe access to higher areas and the space needed to work in front of the display. Front service is useful because it offers another way to plan access, not because it removes all clearance requirements.
Six cabinet sizes help the display follow the space
SF uses 250 × 250 mm modules with six cabinet formats: widths of 500, 750 or 1000 mm, and heights of 250 or 500 mm. This gives the panel layout more options when the display needs to fit a wide reception wall, a narrow promotional area or an interior feature.
For U.S. projects, translate the target width and height into an actual cabinet layout before placing an order. These are metric cabinets, so the screen dimensions should be checked in both millimeters and inches. The SF model and cabinet tables provide the starting dimensions.
The source also shows creative and right-angle layouts. Custom shapes should be reviewed with VTLED for cabinet compatibility, connections and support hardware.
What “easy to install” should mean on a real project
The SF housing is made from die-cast aluminum and uses reinforcing ribs to support flatness. The specification also describes fixed internal power interfaces and front installation and maintenance features. These details can make the assembly and service workflow more straightforward.
There is no cabinet-weight figure in the supplied specification. Request the confirmed weight for the selected format and the total installed load before designing the support system. The crew, lifting method and mounting hardware should follow the approved project plan.
Where it fits in U.S. commercial spaces
Application concept from the supplied brochure.
Retail stores and showrooms. A large display can carry campaign visuals, product demonstrations and brand content. Select the pitch for the nearest customer position and the amount of detail in the content.
Hotels and hospitality. Reception areas, event spaces and meeting rooms need displays that fit the interior and can be maintained. The slim cabinet and front-access design are relevant when reviewing the available space.
Restaurants and bars. Promotional content, event messaging and entertainment each place different demands on the screen. Consider ambient light, viewing angles, operating hours and the content system as part of the specification.
Corporate lobbies, meeting and training rooms. Presentation slides and fine text can require a different pitch from a wall used mainly for large brand visuals. Start with the closest viewing distance and the resolution needed for the actual material.
Choose the visual specification for the content
SF offers nominal pixel pitches from P1.25 through P3.91. The supplied table lists 600 nits for P1.25 and P1.56, and 800 nits for the other options. It also lists a 3,840 Hz refresh rate, 14/16-bit grayscale options and a 160° viewing angle in both directions.
Those values should be reviewed together with screen size, room lighting, processing and content resolution. A finer pitch can provide more pixels at a given size, but the right selection depends on what people will see and where they will stand or sit. SF is an indoor IP31 system; exterior signs require an outdoor-rated product.
Bring the installation and U.S. support questions into the quote
Send VTLED the available width and height, nearest viewer, venue type, mounting conditions, content sources and delivery ZIP code. Include the required opening date and any restrictions on installation or service hours.
VTLED provides local after-sales support from Las Vegas and U.S. availability information. Confirm current SF stock, delivery timing and spare parts for the selected configuration rather than assuming every format is available locally.
For comparison, review the SE Series front-service indoor display. If the requirement is a movable promotional unit instead of a fixed wall, the SP Series LED poster may be worth discussing. For repeated event setup and teardown, explore the RS Series rental display.
A few questions to settle before ordering
How thin is the SF cabinet?
The cabinet depth is 33 mm, approximately 1.30 inches. The finished installation will also include its mounting hardware, cable routing and the clearances required for the project; 33 mm is not a claim for the total installed depth.
Can the display be maintained from the front?
Yes. The specification lists front access. Front maintenance is useful for wall-mounted commercial displays where a dedicated rear service aisle would be difficult to accommodate. Use the approved service procedure and plan the required ventilation and access.
How much does an SF cabinet weigh?
The supplied specification describes a lightweight design but does not give a verified weight for each cabinet size. Ask VTLED for the weight of your selected cabinet and the complete assembly load before specifying mounting hardware.
Can SF be installed outdoors?
SF is an indoor fixed-display system with an IP31 specification. For exposed exterior signage, review the outdoor-rated OZ or OS series and ask VTLED to confirm a suitable configuration.
A successful commercial display starts with a screen that fits the room and a clear plan to install and maintain it. The SF cabinet’s slim profile, front access and choice of sizes give that discussion a practical starting point.
