Have a 3 × 8 ft school sign opening or a 4 × 10 ft roadside display in mind? The first question is often simple: can the LED cabinets make that size cleanly? We sized the OZ Series around the dimensions U.S. sign buyers actually use. Each cabinet is 2 ft wide and 1 ft high (24 × 12 × 2 in), so many familiar sign sizes can be assembled from identical, full-size panels.
You can start with the display width and height you want. We can then map out the cabinet grid before settling the pixel pitch, support structure, power and controls. There is no need to start by choosing from a short list of fixed-size sign kits.
One cabinet size, many familiar U.S. layouts
Installed 2 ft wide by 1 ft high, OZ grows in 2-ft steps across and 1-ft steps up. A 3-ft-high sign uses three complete rows; a 4-ft-high sign uses four. That makes it particularly straightforward to plan the whole-foot dimensions often requested for monument signs, school entrances and roadside displays.
| Target display size (height × width) | OZ cabinet grid | Cabinets per face |
|---|---|---|
| 2 × 6 ft | 2 rows × 3 columns | 6 |
| 3 × 8 ft | 3 rows × 4 columns | 12 |
| 4 × 8 ft | 4 rows × 4 columns | 16 |
| 4 × 10 ft | 4 rows × 5 columns | 20 |
For a double-sided 3 × 8 ft sign, the same layout is built on each face: 12 cabinets per side, or 24 in all. Using one cabinet format also makes spare-panel planning simpler.
These are nominal LED display dimensions. The completed sign will need additional space for framing, trim, electrical equipment and mounting. If you have an existing sign structure, send both the clear opening and the outside frame dimensions. We can check the fit before you commit to a layout. Unusual shapes or widths that do not follow the 2-ft grid need a separate review.
Designed to be practical after installation, too
Getting the size right is only part of the job. A sign against a wall may need front access; an open-frame installation may allow rear access. OZ supports both, so service access can be planned around the site. The fanless, die-cast aluminum cabinet is about 9 lb per panel and 2 in deep.

All three OZ models in the current specification sheet are rated IP67. OZ42 has a 4.2 mm pixel pitch and listed brightness of at least 8,000 nits; OZ63 and OZ95 have 6.3 mm and 9.5 mm pitches with listed brightness of at least 10,000 nits. We select the model around viewing distance, sunlight and the type of content the sign will show—not just the physical size.
Where the flexible sizing helps
A 2 × 6 ft display can work for a compact entrance message. A 3 × 8 ft screen is a useful starting point for a school, church or shopping-center sign. A 4 × 8 ft or 4 × 10 ft layout offers more area for roadside messaging. These are examples of cabinet layouts, not one-size-fits-all installation plans.

If you already know the size you want, send us the height and width in feet. A photo or drawing of the site, the installation city and state, approximate viewing distance, and whether the sign needs one face or two will help us turn that size into a workable recommendation.
